Open SEO Audit, complete a Website Crawl, and select Issue Workflow. This view combines technical, link, spelling, grammar, brand-rule, and duplicate-content findings from the active brand's measured crawl. It does not create estimated issues.
Understand each status
- New means the stable fingerprint appeared for the first time.
- Open means the issue was seen before and still needs triage.
- Assigned means a brand workspace member owns the next action.
- In Progress means work has started but a later crawl has not yet verified the fix.
- Fixed means the fingerprint was active in the previous completed crawl and was absent from the next completed crawl, or staff marked it fixed pending verification.
- Ignored means the team intentionally chose not to act.
- False Positive means the measured text or signal is valid for this brand.
- Reopened means a fingerprint that had been fixed appeared again.
Assign and document work
Click Manage on an issue to choose its status, assign an active brand workspace member, set or clear a due date, and add a staff comment. Comments retain the staff name and time. Workflow changes are also written to the existing brand activity log. These controls record work; they do not edit the client website.
Use search, filters, and bulk actions
Search checks the issue title, rule, source page, observed text, suggested correction, and nearby context. Filter by status, severity, owner, overdue or due-soon work, and scan change. Select visible rows to apply one status, owner, or due date to as many as 100 authorized issues at a time.
Compare completed scans
The comparison strip uses each issue's stable SHA-256 fingerprint. New has no earlier occurrence. Recurring was also present before. Reopened returned after being fixed. Fixed was active in the previous completed scan but is absent now. Recent Scan Comparisons lists these counts for up to 12 completed crawls.
What stays with an issue
Every occurrence keeps the same fingerprint plus its source URL, detector, rule, selector, observed text, suggested correction, severity, first-seen time, last-seen time, occurrence count, owner, due date, comments, and event history. Ignored and false-positive decisions carry forward when the same fingerprint appears in a later scan. Brand authorization and the active brand route still control every read and update.
