How brand workspaces and the brand switcher work

Updated August 5, 2026

Each brand has its own workspace. A workspace is the brand-specific version of the dashboard and tools. The URL includes the brand slug, such as /brand-name/dashboard/, so the user always knows which client account they are working inside.

The brand switcher appears in the app submenu above the tool buttons. Use it to move from one client brand to another. After a brand is selected, Dashboard, Keywords, SEO Audit, AI/GEO, Rank Tracker, Social, Reports, and Alerts all open for that active brand.

  1. Open Dashboard or any main tool page.
  2. Use the brand switcher on the left side of the submenu.
  3. Select the client brand you want to work on.
  4. Use the submenu buttons to move between Dashboard, Brands, Keywords, SEO Audit, AI/GEO, Rank Tracker, Social, Reports, and Alerts for that same brand.

The Dashboard score, setup progress, keyword data, rank history, SEO audit results, AI standing, social standing, reports, and alerts are pulled from the active brand workspace. If a user is on the wrong brand, switch brands first before running a check or reading results.

When a new brand is created, Analytics & Beyond opens that brand workspace automatically. If a brand is archived, it cannot be opened as an active workspace, and the system moves the user to another active brand when one is available.

Old links that use ?brand_id= still work for active brands. The platform automatically redirects them to the cleaner brand workspace URL and keeps useful extra information, such as report IDs. Invalid, archived, or inaccessible brand links will not fall back to another client account.
